Tomi Ahonen is continuing his "Pearls" series of eBooks on case studies of real mobile services from around the world, following the well-received and praised Pearls Vol 1: Mobile Advertising and Pearls Vol 2: Mobile Social Networking.

Like Pearls Vol 1 and Vol 2, also available only in eBook format, Pearls Vol 3: Mobile Money is 171 pages in length, formated for the small screens of smartphones, the iPhone, PDAs, Blackberries etc. Like Vol 1 and Vol 2, this new eBook is not encrypted and is in basic pdf format so any eBook reader can be used including Kindle and iPad and any netbooks, notebook and desktop computers. The single-user license allows saving to multiple devices (smartphone, tablet PC, notebook PC, desktop PC, backup storage, etc) owned by the same user.

Pearls Vol 3: Mobile Money has 50 "pearls" specific to the topic of mobile payments, coupons, banking, credit cards and the 'mobile wallet'.

For those who own Pearls Vol 1 or Vol 2, this third Volume has some chapters of overlap. Most chapters that will repeat, are placed to the back of the eBook to facilitate easy reading for those who have more than one in the series of Pearls eBooks. Pearls Vol 3: Mobile Money will have all unique discussions of 50 Pearls. Of the total page count of 171 pages, 100 pages discuss the 50 new Pearls. There is also a 14 page chapter on mobile money, and completely revised and updated 11 page chapter on consumers and the mobile industry, when compared to Vol 1 and Vol 2. Also the Introduction chapter is totally revised. Thus 134 pages of the eBook are completely new or totally revised (78%) compared to previous two Pearls Volumes. Pearls Vol 3 has now started to ship. This is the only website that sells Tomi Ahonen ebooks including the three Pearls volumes.

Tomi is the former Nokia executive who has written six hardcover bestsellers for the mobile industry, that are referenced in over 100 books by other authors. He has written two annual statistical volumes also in eBook format. This Pearls Vol 3 will be Tomi's sixth eBook and his twelfth book overall. Tomi is regularly quoted in the press on the mobile industry specifically on new services, applications and innovations. His Pearls are very widely referenced.

The eBook license is a single user licence and is not allowed to be distributed. But the file is not encrypted, is in native pdf format so you will not need any special eBook reader software, and there are no restrictions for you to install the file on several readers, computers etc for your personal use.

To buy the ebook, you have to make a payment of 9.99 Euros via Paypal using the link here, and then send an email to Tomi Ahonen saying "Ordered Vol 3"

The file size of the pdf file of the eBook is 2.5 megabytes.

After you have made payment, please write immediately to Tomi Ahonen to state that you have placed the order. Please indicate in your email what was the entity that made the payment (ie name on the credit card if that is different from your name as on your email).

Indicate in the email header "Ordered Vol 3" and send that information as email to tomi@tomiahonen.com

You will receive the ebook within 24 hours. I will try to process early orders of the ebooks in several batches so you should get it within a few hours of your payment and email.
